I always start to lose motivation to eat a lot the next day. Like I'll get a burst of motivation to consume a whole lot, then I lose it by the next day and I'm just like "Yeah, whatever." So how do people keep themselves motivated.. I suppose with anything hard?
Should I just like put notes around the house telling me to eat more and/or nasty remarks.. ya know? But I did that when I lost my key and I ended up ignoring them completely... hmm... Help Please!! I'm not hurting anybody by being my weight. I come from a very small family so they understand.. I just want to be bigger :( And... yeah Powered by Yahoo Answers |

I'd write motivational phrases and notes reminding yourself why you're doing this. Perhaps make lists of all the dangers of being your current weight. Keep reminding yourself how important it is to achieve this and when you do manage to eat a lot each day, congratulate yourself and make yourself feel good about it.
You could also try carrying around pictures of people you care about and who would suffer if anything happened to you due to being an unhealthy weight. Don't let yourself forget how important it is to do this. You have one life and by getting healthy you're making sure it's as long and enjoyable as possible. Good luck and never lose sight of your goal. X Powered by Yahoo Answers |

I have this same problem. I am only 114 and I'm 5'6. I tell myself all the time that I want to gain weight, I'll eat really good for like 2 days, then just not feel like it. My sister has the same problem. We went to mcdonalds one day and swore we were going to start eating huge amounts. We both were stuffing down HUGE burgers and large fries. In the middle of it we both started cracking up because she said "I don't know why we're doing this! We will just wake up in the morning and not eat breakfast!" haha! I try to make myself eat even when I'm not hungry by eating nuts and fruits. Also, I'm a big coffee and tea drinker (neither contain calories) so now I drink juice because it's more fattening. I also drink shakes, they help me get the calories I need when I skip a meal. I am good at maintaining weight doing all of these, but I still have trouble gaining. Last year, I drank 3 shakes a day (weight gainer shakes from GNC) and gained 11 pounds in three months. Then I stopped. I didn't lose the weight though. Maybe you could try that? Good luck!

Hi & Welcome to the Site
Letting yourself have a cheat day is totally ok. It will actually help you control your cravings and not deprive you from little things in life. About being jealous of those fit looking chicks in the gym… I understand I used to be like that… I slacked off and got lazier… but… when I really though about it… They had to start somewhere to make them look so good? They can be working their butts off for years while I was gaining weights. Now I’m trying to lose weight while they looking fit…. And one day of course… I know I can work my way there to not only be fit looking… but actually healthy Like others mentioned above…. Use that as a motivation. You are starting and you can look that way too You already lost some… good job Keep going.. a goal is to have for you to reach… so… it might take a bit longer or sometimes it might be reached a bit faster… But don’t stop aiming for it
